Our breeding approach is centered around the ideal temperament of the Cane Corso. We are dedicated to producing dogs that exemplify the breed's original purpose and standards, ensuring they are suitable companions and guardians wherever they go. It is our belief that the Cane Corso is, and should be, one of the most versatile dogs around. These factors are at the forefront of every breeding matchup we put together.
Our Passion for Cane Corsos
Our journey with Cane Corsos began with a deep passion for the breed and its remarkable traits, and continues with every puppy we welcome into the world. This passion is what drives us to uphold the highest standards in breeding, nurturing, and caring for these incredible dogs. We go the extra mile at all times to demonstrate the extreme utility and usefulness that this breed has.

At Firebrand Cane Corso, we don't just breed dogs and sell puppies. We put our hearts, souls and bodies into these dogs with everything we do. Instead of simply sending puppies out to new homes, we welcome new families into our larger Firebrand family. Having one of our puppies is a lifetime journey for our customers that we are happy and excited to be a part of.
Who are we?
We are Craig and Brittany Libby, the owners at Firebrand Cane Corso! We have both spent our entire lives with animals of all sorts. From many different breeds of dogs to a variety of farm animals, large and small. In doing so, we have gathered a wealth of knowledge in animal husbandry, and in dogs in particular.
We've been involved with the Cane Corso breed since the beginning of 2018, when we had the opportunity to adopt an adult male corso named Rocco. We immediately fell in love with him and thus began our journey. It took no time at all for us to realize that one was not going to be enough. With that, we began the search to find our next corso. That search put us in contact with one of our mentors, Pilar Rivera III, of Cani Diavolo Cane Corso, and there we ultimately found our foundation female, Ember. Pilar was, and still is, a great friend who helped get us started and guided us down the right path in the breeding world. For that, we will be forever grateful.
We knew from the beginning that we wanted to do our part to preserve the integrity of the breed, and in our journey to become breeders and establish our kennel, we had the opportunity and pleasure to make some fantastic connections, building our relationships with many other breeder friends and mentors. We worked diligently with these connections to create what we had envisioned in order to become some of the most respectable and responsible breeders. Were it not for the help of these friends and mentors, we certainly wouldn't have had the level of early successes we've had.
From the very beginning of our planning stages until present day, we have made it our priority to produce the most stable, athletic, confident, correct dogs that we possibly can. Quality and the preservation of our majestic breed will always be our top priorities.
